Technologies
Technology Transfer focuses on the transfer of know-how to industry but especially SMEs. It has two main objectives:

Muscle profiling demonstration in Aberstwyth University, October 2010
1. To set up national and EU SMEs networks dedicated to technology transfer.
2. To assist SMEs to identify opportunities in a “learning-by-doing” implementation process.

The average attendance at these demonstrations is roughly 20 people; an optimum number of participant for practical exhibitions. Nevertheless, in order to extend the impact of demonstrations to companies that could not attend the demonstration itself, a "demonstration kit" has been produced for each technology.
These activities will permit ProSafeBeef to deliver to the beef industry a toolbox of strategies and practice to reduce microbiological and chemical contaminants in the beef supply chain through an integrated fork-to-farm framework approach, and develop a range of novel products that are safe, convenient, of high quality and attractive to the consumer.
