On the 17th and 18th of November 2009 in Clermont-Ferrand, France, the first biannual European innovation conference MEAT’IN, dedicated to the meat and meat products industry, took place. Participants were mainly industry representatives and their sub-suppliers and research partners.
The event featured a general conference forum, workshops and an exhibition area. Its aim was to highlight meat companies and successful innovation projects, enabling exchanges between companies and research partners in order to boost innovation. During this event the European network MEATEAM gave several presentations. The network is composed of members from Spain, Italy, Denmark, Ireland, Norway, Hungary and France.
